SHILLONG: A fire that broke out at the godown of MP Singhania and Deborah Marak in Rilbong on Friday night, was contained thanks to the timely arrival of the fire tenders.
The workers at the bonded warehouse of Singhania noticed the fire on the top floor of the building around 10 pm.
After the police was alerted, two fire tenders reached the spot and doused the fire. Initial reports said short circuit may be the cause of fire.
