Plea of teachers’ body on exam results

SHILLONG: The Khasi Jaintia Deficit School Teachers Association has urged the district administration and the pressure groups to allow the schools to function normally on December 16 and 17 so that the results of the students can be declared.
The president of the association, Babu Kular Khongjirem said that while some schools have already declared their results, other schools are getting ready on Monday and Tuesday.
“We make an appeal that to the district administration and the NGOs to allow the schools to declare their results”, he said.
Earlier, the announcement of result in time was delayed due to the prevailing law and order situation.
