Stones pelted
EM Donn, Secretary, Meghalaya State Law Commission lodged a complaint that some unidentified persons pelted stone and damaged the windowpanes of her office at Lower Lachumiere, Shillong.
On December 13, around 11 pm, miscreants pelted stones at police personnel, who were on duty at Umsohsun near Lady Bird Hotel, Shillong.
On the night of December 13, miscreants pelted stones at Hotel Lady Bird, Umsohsun, Shillong. As a result, two large windowpanes were damaged.
N Alemo Michael, IFS, DFO, Silviculture Division lodged a complaint that on December 13, between 3.30 pm and 4 pm, unruly mob pelted stones at his office located at Lower Lachumiere, Shillong and damaged the glass.
On December 13, around 3.30 pm, unidentified agitators pelted stones at one Fire Tender (ML-02-0652) near Raj Bhavan, Shillong. As a result, the vehicle was damaged. Further, one bag containing eye-goggles, two mobile phones, document of one personal motorcycle, fire dungree, etc., were found missing from the vehicle.
Ranjama Jhunjhunwala lodged a complaint that on December 12, around 3.05 pm, a mob pelted stones at her shop located at Police Bazar, Shillong. As a result, the windowpane was damaged.
Niraj Mohanty, general manager of Hotel Polo Towers, Shillong lodged a complaint that on December 10, between 4.15 pm and 4.45 pm, miscreants pelted stone at the windows of the hotel which damaged some windows.
Petrol bomb hurled
On December 16, around 10.30 pm, miscreants lobbed plastic bottles filled with petrol and diesel mixed at one Toyota Etios (ML-05Q-3904), which was parked inside a residential compound at Dongkadiang, Nongmensong, Shillong, with an intention to burn the vehicle. However, passersby prevented the attempt.
Vehicles set ablaze
Navamita Paul lodged a complaint that on December 14, circa 10 pm, her vehicle (ML-05-2905), which was parked inside her residential compound at Lower Jail Road, Shillong, caught fire.
Donovan Rapsang, District Coordinator, Nehru Yuva Kendra, Shillong lodged a complaint that on December 13, around 4.30 pm, miscreants set ablaze one Mahindra Bolero (AS-01AK-5906) belonging to the office of the state director, Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangatham, Meghalaya, which was parked inside the compound of the Youth Hostel, Shillong.
Shop burnt
Samiran Paul lodged a complaint that on December 12, between 3.30 pm and 4 pm, miscreants set ablaze his shop at DMR Shopping Complex near Dreamland Cinema Hall, Police Bazar, Shillong. Loss of property is estimated between Rs 7 and 8 lakh.
Car damaged
Shri Ankur Jhunjhunwala of Police Bazar, Shillong lodged a complaint that on December 12, around 3 pm, miscreants damaged his Maruti Eeco van (ML-05P-2001), which was parked in front of Hanumanbux Motilal shop in Police Bazar.
