Accused in Rongjeng PS abduction case nabbed in NGH

TURA: Three criminals who were involved in the kidnapping of two drivers from Assam on December 23 were arrested by North Garo Hills police on Thursday.

The kidnapping incident had taken place under Rongjeng Police Station in East Garo Hills.

The arrested have been identified as Toseng M Sangma (21), Rimbin M Sangma (18) and another juvenile. All the three hail from Mejolgre village under Rongmil in East Garo Hills.

The trio were arrested from a place located on the Assam-Meghalaya border and have since been handed over to East Garo Hills police after completing all the legal formalities.
