3 shops gutted in Phulbari

SHILLONG: Three shops in Phulbari area of West Garo Hills were  gutted in a major fire on Saturday morning.The fire incident was reported at 5.45 am at Bhaitbari Market under Phulbari Police Station.

Police said that the incident occurred allegedly due to the negligence of the tea stall owner who kept firewood burning in the stove in a reckless  overnight. The fire spread to neighboring three shops.
