Roshni, Adrika reach final of Guwahati Open

GUWAHATI: Roshni Bharadwaj and Adrika Rajkumari sealed berths in the girl’s singles (under 12 years) final defeating Bishnupriya Borgohain 4-1, 4-1 and Nikita Sonowal 4-0, 4-0 respectively in the semi-finals of the 4th Guwahati Open Junior Tennis Championship 2020 here on Thursday.
This is one of the flagship tournaments of Assam, organized by the Guwahati Lawn Tennis Association (GLTA).
In the boy’s singles (under 12 years), Ayan Bhuyan and Raunak Kashyap entered the final getting the better of Bornil Bihan Bora 4-1, 4-1 and Parthib Kalita 4-2, 4-2 respectively in the semi-finals.
Altogether 150 participants from various parts of the region are taking part in it.The championship is carrying a total of Rs 1,82 lakhs as cash scholarship.
