No one claims body recovered by Ri Bhoi Police

NONGPOH : A week has gone by after Ri Bhoi Police had recovered one unknown body at 19 Mer in Ri Bhoi District, yet no one has come forward to claim the body which was presently kept at the morgue of Civil Hospital here.

            It may be mentioned that on January 27, Ri Bhoi police recovered one unidentified body suspected to be of a non-tribal from 19 Mer. The unidentified dead body was having a tattoo of the ‘Brahma Bull’ with the letter ‘The Rock’ inscribed in his left hand.

            In this connection, Ri Bhoi police had earlier informed all police stations and police outposts of Meghalaya and Assam but unfortunately, no one has come forward to claim the body of the person suspected be murdered by unknown miscreants.
