Dacoits loot shotgun from villager

TURA: A group of masked criminals armed with country made weapons raided the home of a villager in Bolchugre area and took away his rifle, early this week.
According to reports, the incident took place late in the night on Tuesday at the home of Jangsan Marak at Gimbil Adinggre, near Bolchugre which falls under Tura police station jurisdiction.
The masked Intruders forced their way into the house and after manhandling and threatening him forcibly took away his single barrel shotgun which he kept in the house for hunting purposes.
Police suspect the crime to be the handiwork of locals from the area and is investigating the incident.
