Final publication of photo electoral roll

SHILLONG/NONGPOH/TURA: The District Election Officer of East Khasi Hills District has informed that the list of amendments to the draft photo electoral roll for the following Assembly Constituencies, namely Mawryngkneng, Pynthorumkhrah, Mawlai, East Shillong, North Shillong, West Shillong, South Shillong, Mylliem, Nongthymmai, Nongkrem, Sohiong, Mawphlang, Mawsynram, Pynursla and Mawkynrew Assembly Constituency has been prepared with reference to January 1, 2020 as qualifying date and in accordance with the Registration of Electors Rules, 1960.
The office of the District Election Officer, Ri Bhoi District on Friday conducted a meeting on special summary revision of Photo Electoral Rolls and final publication of electoral rolls for Mawhati, Nongpoh, Jirang, Umsning and Umroi.
The meeting was held in the office chamber of the Additional Deputy Commissioner, B Kharshandi who is also the Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) in presence of AEROs, HK Thabah, EAC, FM Lakiang, EAC, VA Hynniewta, EAC, R Kharshandi Housing Inspector and representatives from different political parties.
The ERO and AEROs distributed the final publication of the electoral rolls to representatives of Political parties in both hard and soft copies.
The DC (Election), West Garo Hills Tura has informed that the final publication of photo electoral rolls of Assembly constituencies of Phulbari, -Rajabala, Selsella, North Tura, South Tura, Rangsakona, Gambegre and Dalu have been prepared
