SHILLONG: A day after five suspected Bangladeshis attacked two youths from Pyrkan village near Shella in East Khasi Hills, another case of attack, allegedly by Bangladeshi miscreants, was reported at Tamabil in West Jaintia Hills on Monday morning.
West Jaintia Hills police informed that a truck driver, identified as Morningstar Bamon of Jowai, was injured in a dacoity bid and was taken to Dawki PHC for medical examination.
During his cross examination, the victim revealed that two Bangladeshi miscreants brandishing machetes had pulled him out of his truck (ML10 5454) and looted him.
Police said they have begun investigation in the case and have alerted BSF authorities.
