KHADC admin rule hearing on March 5

SHILLONG: The High Court of Meghalaya has preponed the hearing on the petition filed by MDC Latiplang Kharkongor challenging the imposition of administrator’s rule (AR) in the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) to March 5.
The hearing was supposed to be held on March 12.
The petitioner (Kharkongor) has challenged the notification of February 7 wherein the Governor had approved the proposal of the state government to impose administrator’s rule in the KHADC.
