Awareness event at Jorhat airport

SHILLONG: The NDRF Sub-Team of 1st Battalion NDRF Guwahati along with Inspector Manoj Kumar Ojha and NDRF rescuers organised an awareness programme on the novel coronavirus COVID-19 at Jorhat airport, Assam.
The subjects which were covered during the programme included symptoms and complications, prevention, transmission of coronavirus and use of personal protective equipments such as face mask. During the programme, the NDRF rescuers advised avoiding close contact with people who are sick while maintaining not touching the face with unwashed hands and to cover the mouth while coughing or sneezing.
