SHILLONG: After some Northeastern students had become victims of racial discrimination at a store in Mysore, Karnataka, on March 28, the Meghalaya unit of ABVP informed that it has set up helpline numbers for the students in the state as well as across the country.
While assuring help to any student in the state who contacts them with regard to their problems or situation, the students’ organisation provided the helpline numbers — Khasi Hills (9366223483/8974590197), Jaintia Hills (9862247629/7005877645) and Garo Hills (8837339197/9862298634/7005984419).
The student body will also start online Mathematics classes for Classes X, XI and XII through Facebook, the statement said.
The video lessons will be uploaded daily on ABVP Meghalaya Facebook page and the students can also ask their queries by commenting on the post, it added.
