SHILLONG: The Presbyterian Church Mawkhar will have a live telecast of the church service in the local cable TV on Good Friday and Easter Sunday on April 10 and 12 respectively.
In a statement issued here, Rev. M Pyngrope informed that the live telecast can be viewed at 12:30 pm.
The Good Friday message will be delivered by Rev. GP Kharpan and the Easter Sunday message by Rev. M Pyngrope.
Prayers
Meanwhile, the leaders of Seng Khasi Kmie, Shillong, offered their prayers at ‘Lei Shyllong’ seeking protection from COVID-19.
Present at the rituals were Syiem of Hima Mylliem, Pa’iem Ainam Manik Syiem, Skor Jala and chairman of the committee of elders, Donbokstar Kurkalang in the presence of president of Seng Khasi Kmie, Don Kupar Dkhar, and chairman of Lum Sohpetbneng Committee Seng Khasi Kmie, Dipshon L Nongbri.
