SHILLONG: The Opposition Chief Whip and Congress legislator P T Sawkmie has asked all the 60 MLAs to work together to fight coronavirus.
“Irrespective of party affiliations, all the political parties should come together to fight the virus”, Sawkmie said.
He appreciated the decision taken to contribute 10% of the salary by MLAs for a year. Sawkmie also welcomed the plan of Prime Minister to extend the lockdown for another 14 days
