Govt to arrange for sale of farm produce

SHILLONG: Meghalaya’s Agriculture Minister, Banteidor Lyngdoh on Monday said though the state had sufficient stock of farm produce, the same couldn’t  reach the market due to the ongoing lockdown.
He added that as a temporary measure the  government would identify some suppliers and retail outlets  in the city who would be authorised to collect the farm produce and arrange for retail sale.
