Lockdown violators held

NONGSTOIN: The Nongstoin Police on Monday apprehended five lockdown violators, which has been imposed in view of COVID-19 outbreak. The police also took mugshots of them holding placards which read ‘stay home and stay safe’.
The violators — T Mawlieh, S Mawlieh, B Iawphniaw, C Tympuin and WK Dewsaw — are residents of Siejlieh, Mawiaban.
It was informed that they had intended to go fishing.
Police officials said that no case was registered as after taking the mugshots, all the violators were released.
