House gutted
On April 23, around 11.30 pm, one bus (AS-01JC-9694) belonging to Aktar Ali, which was parked on the roadside at Mahendraganj in South West Garo Hills was gutted.

Curfew violation
On April 23, around 11.45 am, police detained one scooty (ML-05T-3203) ridden by Suraj Kumar at Polo, Shillong, for violating the curfew imposed by the District Magistrate, East Khasi Hills. Meanwhile, police apprehended three persons — Mulkesh Kumar (27), Sanju Agarwal (50) and Abdul Martin (65) — while they were selling vegetables, etc., at Iewduh, on April 23, circa 5.45 am.

Misuse of car pass
CMG Momin, MCS, BDO, Dalu C&RD Block, West Garo Hills lodged a complaint that on April 21, circa 11 am, one vehicle (ML-08G-4851) was found transporting cold drinks, therefore misusing the vehicle pass and violating the order imposed by District Magistrate.

Burglary
On April 24, miscreants broke into the house of Pasdalin Katrai at Mawiong, Shillong, and stole a TV set, gold rings, a mobile phone and Rs 5,000.

Damage to property
MD Shadap lodged a complaint that on April 14, around 2 pm, miscreants broke into the office of the Assistant Director of Horticulture (FP), Govt. Fruit Preservation Centre, Laitumkhrah, and damaged the drawers, etc.
