SHILLONG: Sixteen family members of Meghalaya’s first COVID-19 patient who died on April 15, were tested again to find out their novel coronavirus infection, if any, status. These included eight of the family members who had been tested positive earlier.

As per the test results, which were received on Wednesday, they have all tested negative. However, the eight positive cases will need to be tested again after 24 hours as per protocol to completely declare them as recovered.
