Homecoming from May 5

SHILLONG: The government will permit citizens of the state stranded in the North East to return with effect from May 5 or soon thereafter and will make necessary arrangements.
A statement issued here on Wednesday said those who intend to return will have to fill up an online form at meghalayaonline.gov.in/covid/ on or before May 4.
The statement said that those who do not have internet access, may call 81320-11037, 84330-38716, 97115-44148, 73385-50288 between 9 am to 8 pm on any day till May 4 to register.
For citizens stranded in other states, the registration process will be announced as soon as confirmation is received from the Centre about resumption or arrangement of air/rail travel services.
It is to be noted that given the current COVID-19 situation, pre-registration is mandatory for entering the state, the statement said.
