RKM donates rice to families in Mawkyrwat

MAWKYRWAT: The Ramakhrishna Mission Ashrama (RKM), Sohra, on Tuesday, donated 25 kg of rice and 5 kg of dal to 126 families of Diwah-Umoit and Shait-Shait Umoid village in South West Khasi Hills.
PS Lyngdoh, a member of the RKM, informed that the RKM has been able to help many poor families in all the districts in recent weeks.
Lyngdoh said that the relief has nothing to do with the government schemes, rather these were donation from certain people to the RKM, which is distributed to the needy.
