Electronic shops to open on May 28 and 29

SHILLONG: The Deputy Commissioner, East Khasi Hills has informed that the listed shops namely, Bhajanlal, Police Bazaar and Wheels & Wares, Dhankheti will remain open on Thursday from 9 am to 6 pm while Electro Vision, Police Bazaar and Home Care, Dhankheti will be open on Friday from 9 am to 6 pm.
The DC informed that the above listed shops shall restrict their sale in a stand-alone section specifically only for mobile and repair services and recharge, electrical goods, IT products (computer and printers) sale and services, face mask, sanitisers, infrared thermometer and allied to combat COVID-19.
The listed shops are to restrict their staff to the barest minimum, the workers are to wear masks at all times, maintain social distancing, respiratory etiquette, hand hygiene and compliance to all other advisories of Health and Family Welfare Department.
