Night curfew extended in WKH

NONGSTOIN: Night curfew has been extended in West Khasi Hills from 7 pm to 6 am from Tuesday till May 31 as a preventive measure against spread of the coronavirus disease.
The order from the District Magistrate prohibits public gathering of more than five people, social, cultural religious gathering, interstate movement, operation of major weekly markets, hair cutting, beauty parlour, gymnasium, tea stalls, dhabas, restaurant along highways, movement in public places without wearing mask, spitting, consumption of liquor, smoking in public places, movement of commercial vehicles except those that are being allowed to ply on rotation basis, movement of person above 65 years of age, pregnant women and children below 10 years of age except on health and emergency and assembly of people without social distancing.
