Shops and services open for six days in Ri Bhoi

NONGPOH: Shops and services will operate for six days in Ri Bhoi district from Monday in order to enable the locals to purchase daily essential commodities and to meet their commercial requirements in the district during the lockdown.
The District Magistrate has informed that shops and services like sale of dry fish or processed fish, courier services, e-commerce operation, common service centres, distribution of packaged drinking water and juice, duly notified by the government and collection centres of MeECL in each locality throughout the district are allowed to operate for 6 days till May 30.
Pharmacies, veterinary hospital, dispensaries, clinics, sale and supply of medicines & vaccine, petrol pumps, home delivery/takeaway food, shop for repair of trucks on NH, electrician, IT repair, plumbers, motor mechanics and carpenters, in-situ construction works can be operated on a daily basis.
Operation of permitted services, agricultural industrial and commerce activities will be in strict adherence to the prescribed standard operating procedures issued by the government.
