Conrad takes stock of fight against COVID-19 pandemic in South Garo Hills

GUWAHATI: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma on Monday held a review meeting with officials of the district administration of South Garo Hills to review the situation in the area under the looming threat of COVID-19 pandemic.

“It is very important that while we work to defeat the corona virus we unite as a team. We have to adapt to the situation & learn to change ourselves & get back to doing things differently,” tweeted the Chief Minister.

The Chief Minister also visited two corona care centres at Baghmara and interacted with inmates in the second corona care centre.

“Visited the Corona Care Centre at and interacted with frontline workers and officials on duty along with MLAs, Rakkam Sangma and Lazarus Sangma and MDC Sengnal Marak. Visited the second quarantine centre at Baghmara and interacted with the inmates. We are together in this fight against covid,” said the Chief Minister in his twitter handle.
