Curbs on parking

SHILLONG: New traffic arrangements have been imposed in some areas in East Khasi Hills with effect from June 5, an official statement issued here informed.
According to the notification, parking has been prohibited on the entire stretch on both sides of the road adjacent to the compound of the Nepali Christian Fellowship Church, Nongrimbah, Laitumkhrah under Block-II in view of the narrow road and the stretch on both sides of the road adjacent to the compound of the Sisters of Missionaries of Charity, Nongrimbah, Laitumkhrah under Block-II.
Similar restriction has also been imposed on the stretch of both sides of the road adjacent to the Laitumkhrah Police Station on the Nongrimbah side under Block-II, the stretch on both sides of the road adjacent to the compound of O W Roy Kharkongor up to the compound of (L) Dr. P Sohkhlet and the stretch of the bridge which connects the MES Road (Goraline) with Nongrimbah (Wahthangsniang) Block-V.
