SHILLONG: The FKJGP North Khasi Hills Circle has expressed anger over notices issued to its members after the FKJGP and the KSU apprehended people, coming from Uttar Pradesh, who were entering Meghalaya.
The FKJGP stated that though they reported the matter to the Umsning Police Outpost, the police instead asked the outsiders to leave without taking any action against them
After 2-3 days, the Investigating Officer (IO) of Umsning Outpost issued a notice to Gabrial Sunn, general secretary of FKJGP Umsning Circle.Regardless, the FKJGP has asked its members to be more vigilant and prevent the entry of outsiders in view of the rise in COVID-19 cases.
