Shillong: The World Blood Donor Day will be celebrated in the state under the theme ‘Safe Blood, Saves Lives’.
The State Level observation will be jointly organised by Meghalaya AIDS Control Society, Meghalaya State Blood Transfusion Council, All Licensed Blood Banks and Ai Jingim Voluntary Blood Donor Organisation at Raid Laban Secondary School, Madan Laban at 11 am on Friday.
Sampath Kumar, Commissioner & Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department will be the chief guest on the occasion.
