Prizes for Project Star competition

TURA: The office of the East Garo Hills Deputy Commissioner has declared the results of various competitions  organized by the District Administration under the  Project Star recently and the distribution of cash prizes and the certificates for the winners is scheduled for 19th June at the multi-purpose hall of DC’s office.

According to the notification issued in this regard, the first prize winners in the Covid-19 video song competition category in English and Garo were Margaritha of Terrace Gitim and Band the Gabriel of Nokgil A∙we localities of Williamnagar respectively.

The other categories included in the competition were poster design, animation and graphic design, poetry in English and Garo and essay and story writing. The winners in these competitions were Wanshanbok Marak, Adelrico Marak, Cherian R Sangma, Blazebirth Lawren, Ranggira R Marak and Titus R Sangma.
