EX-gratia paid to next of kin of 2 flood victims in Nazira

GUWAHATI: Revenue and Disaster Management Minister of Assam, Jogen Mohan on Tuesday distributed one time ex-gratia of Rs four lakh each under Assam State Disaster Response Fund to the next of kin of the two persons who died due to flood on June 22.

The two deceased persons were identified as Sunil Nath of 159 No. Santak Grant village under Nazira Sub-Division and Ratul Swarnakar of Moiramara Gaon under Nazira Sub-division.  They died due to drowning at Santak Grant and Dekhow River at Kujibali respectively.
