Conrad calls for steps to check infant mortality rate

GUWAHATI: Meghalaya Chief Minister, Conrad Sangma on Monday directed all Deputy Commissioners of all districts to take effective measures to keep infant mortality in check during the video conference with the districts administration heads.

The Chief Minister also took stock of flood situation in affected districts besides reviewing the status of the immunization programme and progress of Jal Shakti Abhiyan.
