Pema Khandu attends Porter raising ceremony of Army

GUWAHATI: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister, Pema Khandu  attended the Porter raising ceremony organised by the 22nd MAHAR Regiment at Sapper. Three  Porter Companies, comprising of 1800 boys will be raised within July by the Indian Army in Kameng sector.

Porters plays a major role in carrying head loads of essentials and equipment etc., in remote areas of Arunachal Hills where are personnel are on duty to protect the frontiers of the country.
