Mobile seized from prisoner

TURA: Tura jail authorities have confiscated a cell phone that was being used by an under-trial prisoner to communicate with the outside world.
After receiving inputs about use of a phone by a prisoner, jail officials conducted a search of the prison cells a few days ago, which led to the recovery of a cell phone from a prisoner, identified as Tengrik Ch Marak. The prisoner from East Garo Hills is currently under trial for cases in South Garo Hills related to dacoity and kidnapping.
Following filing of an FIR, the Tura Police has taken him for interrogation.
