SHILLONG/NONGPOH/TURA: The Deputy Commissioners of East Khasi Hills, Ri Bhoi and West Garo Hills have promulgated night curfew in the districts.
East Khasi Hills
The curfew will be promulgated in the district including Shillong urban agglomeration, Sohra and Pynursla civil sub-divisions and C&RD blocks till July 20 between.
The timing of the night curfew is from 9 pm to 5 am.
The DC, in an order, said that interstate movement is also prohibited besides any gathering whatsoever.
Curfew passes can be obtained by submitting online application at www.eastkhasihills.gov.in.
The DC has also urged the people to strictly comply with the health protocols and the shops and establishments to adhere to the respective SOPs.
Ri Bhoi
The District Magistrate of Ri Bhoi has promulgated night curfew in the district till July 31.
The curfew timings in the district are from 10 pm to 5 am.
West Garo Hills
On the other hand, night curfew in West Garo Hills has been extended till 6 am of July 22. The restrictions, exemptions and permitted activities, which have already been announced in previous orders, will continue to remain the same.
