Construction worker abducted in Garo Hills

TURA: A worker of a road construction company was kidnapped from the work site in South Garo Hills district on Saturday night.
The victim, Md. Abdul Rahim, hailing from Mahendraganj was camping at the construction site in Abagre village when he was taken away by unidentified group of criminals. Rahim was reportedly alone at the campsite when the incident occurred. Police strongly believe that the incident is the handiwork of local criminals who are out to make a fast buck by targeting vulnerable persons.
