SHILLONG: The ABVP Meghalaya state secretary Darilin Tang has condemned the insinuations made by NSUI Meghalaya against national president of ABVP Dr Subbaih, who being a surgeon is at the frontline battling the corona pandemic.
“The allegations made in the statement of NSUI are baseless and redundant as the complaint against Dr Subbaih was based on a misunderstanding and the complainant has since then taken back the complaint”, Tang said. The ABVP central body has already come out with a statement to this effect, Tang added.
“NSUI which claims itself to work with the students should stick to doing its mandated job instead of making false insinuations to tarnish the image of an individual who has made significant contributions to society”, Tang added.
