More containment zones in Malki

SHILLONG: In keeping with the micro-containment strategy to deal with COVID-19, East Khasi Hills District Magistrate has declared few houses around Malki as containment area while lifting the order from the buildings and compounds in Lumpyngngad Block-II and Block- III.
The containment order comes in effect for the houses of Mandalyn Lyngdoh Mawnai and Albinia Lyngdoh Mawnai at Malki Chinapatty, Martian Mawthoh at Riat Bharat, Malki Nongshiliang and Pynhunlang Lyngdoh of Lower Lummawrie, restricting unregulated entry and exit movement on the sites.
Order lifted
In Lumpyngngad Block-II and Block- III, the DC lifted the containment order for the building and compound of Mayorika Lyngdoh, houses of Kitbok Wanrieh, Sweety Lapang and Ricky Kharshandi of Lumpyngngad Block-II, Wanpynshai Nongrum of Lumpyngngad, Block-III and Julie Kharmawphlang of Block D, Nongrimmaw.
