Prayers conducted for COVID warriors

SHILLONG: The Seng Samla Pynthorbah, Block III on Thursday conducted prayers for the safety of the health and other frontline workers engaged in the battle against the COVID-19 pandemic while extending their gratitude to them.
The members said that they also wanted to motivate the health workers.
Deputy Chief Minister Prestone Tynsong, Asha workers and other citizens were present.
Later, they also donated 200 face masks and hand sanitisers which were handed over to the health workers in Pynrusla CHC.
Earlier, the deputy chief minister, Health Minister AL Hek along with DHS (MI) Dr Aman War also inspected the Pynursla CHC and took stock of preparations for the COVID-19.
