Shillong: In a joint operation conducted on Saturday by North Garo Hills and West Garo Hills police at Bajengdoba, a drug peddler selling herion was arrested by the team. Investigation is also underway.
The police also made an appeal to parents to keep a check on their children, especially young boys, in view of the increasing cases of drug abuse by youngsters.
