They urged the Chief Minister to release the pending salaries of the Mawmluh Cherra Cement Limited (MCCL) employees.

Secondly, he said that they have spoken to the CM to find out ways and means to help the employees.

“We also want the government to strengthen the MCCL. We do not want the MCCL to close down but as for now we are looking forward to the assistance from the state government”, Chyne said.

He said that though the government has time and again released money to the MCCL and 2019 was the target set for proper functioning but it was not fruitful.
