SHILLONG: In the interest of public safety and convenience, the Superintendent of Police, East Khasi Hills, has made new traffic arrangements which will come in effect from Wednesday.
There will be no entry for vehicles coming from Golflinks-Langkyrding (Lumshyiap) towards Mawpat.
After reaching Mawpat Market (Mot Taxi Stand), the vehicles will have to take left of the road leading towards Longmaw (tri-junction).
Also, there will be no entry for vehicles coming from Longmaw (tri-junction) towards Mot Taxi Stand. Vehicles will have to take the route leading towards Mawpat Circle III-Shaw Shaw (near C & RD Block Office Mawpat).
