Suspected arson attack on truck

TURA: A boulder-laden truck stranded on a highway in South West Garo Hills district sustained damage on early Tuesday morning after it caught fire in what is suspected to be an arson attack.
After been stranded on the road near Malchapara in Batasing since Saturday, the truck on Tuesday suddenly caught fire. Fire brigade from Ampati was able to douse the fire before further damage could take place.
The owner of the truck, who is suspected of hailing from Mankachar in Assam, was transporting his consignment to Mahendraganj.
