Assam reports 12 more COVID deaths; toll up to 667

GUWAHATI: The death toll due to COVID19 in Assam mounted to 667 on Monday with the state reporting 12 more deaths.

Meanwhile, 3644 new COVID19 cases detected in the state on Monday  out of the record 1,20,156 tests conducted on a single day. The positivity rate is recorded at 3.03 per cent which has declined substantially.

Out of the newly detected cases 563 are in Kamrup Metro district, 284 in Golaghat, 237 in Jorhat and 197 in Sonitpur.
