BSS holds blood donation camp

SHILLONG: To commemorate the 125th birth anniversary of Srimat Swami Pranavanandaji Maharaj – founder of Bharat Sevashram Sangha (BSS), a blood donation camp was organised in the city on Saturday.
According to a statement on Monday, BSS organised the camp in association with the blood bank of NEIGRIHMS.
The 2nd blood donation camp — which was inaugurated by Director (Administration), NEIGRIHMS, David Umdor – saw an active participation from 36 donors.
During the camp secretary, BSS, Swami Purnabratananda, said the blood collected will be donated to the blood bank of NEIGRIHMS and another such camp will be held on January 2, 2021.
Announcing that the third camp next year will be grand, Purnabratananda said that the BSS is targeting a total of 125 donors in all the three camps.)
