EMI payment failed
Vanropuii Chawngthu, Asst. General Manager, SBI RASECC, Shillong, lodged a complaint that on December 22, 2017, one Salseng R Marak of 5th MLP Bn was sanctioned a car loan of Rs 3,44,500 from SBI Polo Branch. However, the borrower failed to register the vehicle and pay the EMI.

Theft
Rajib Duta, EE, MePDCL, East Khasi Hills (D) Division, Shillong, lodged a complaint that on October 14 around 5.30 pm, one Kitkupar Jyrwa was apprehended along with stolen materials, which he and his accomplices stole from the Divisional Store, MeECL, Lumjingshai, Shillong. However, his accomplice managed to escape.

Assault
Spar Chyrmang lodged a complaint that on October 14 around 5 pm, one Richard Chyrmang assaulted his mother and threatened the family members with dire consequences. As a result, victim sustained grievous injuries and was admitted at CHC Sutnga, EJH.

Coal truck detected
On October 14 around 11.50 pm, police detected one truck (NL-01AA-9444) while illegally transporting coal in violation of NGT order at Nongpoh check point, Ri Bhoi.
