CAG submits audit reports to state govt

SHILLONG: The Comptroller and Auditor General of India forwarded the State Finances Audit Report for the year ended March 31, 2019 to the state government on August 25 for laying before the State Legislative Assembly.
The State Finances Audit Report of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India for the year ended March 31, 2019 — Government of Meghalaya (Report No. I of 2020) contain audit observations on the matters arising from examination of Finance and Appropriation Accounts of the Government of Meghalaya including overview and status of the State Government’s compliance with financial rules, procedures and directives.
