Rule exempted
The Commissioner & Secretary, Transport department, has informed that the candidates appearing for the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) Examination have been exempted from the purview of the odd-even scheme till November 30. However, according to the order, the candidates will have to produce the admit card as a proof.

Section 144
The East Khasi Hills District Magistrate has imposed Section 144 CrPC, thereby prohibiting assembly of 5 or more persons within 500 metres of the Temporary Assembly Chamber at Rilbong, and within a radius of 100 metres of the Meghalaya Secretariat (Main and Additional Building).
