Assault
Benar John Marngar lodged a complaint that on October 26, around 9 pm, his brother-in-law Donal Syiemlieh (36) assaulted his elder sister, and when the complainant attempted to intervene, the accused stabbed him with a knife, causing grievous injuries to him.

Cannabis recovered
On October 30, around 7.25 pm, police recovered some cannabis from the possession of one Matgrik Ch Marak at Dobasipara in West Garo Hills.

Thief handed to police
On November 5, around 8.15 pm, one Arjun Bashel (18) was caught red-handed while attempting to commit theft from a building at Harisabha, Laban, and was handed over to the police.

Rodalin Thongni lodged a complaint that on November 7, around 3.30 am, one Winky Mawthoh (19) broke into her shop at Demthring, Shillong, and was caught red-handed by her family members while attempting to commit theft from the shop.

Dr KK Jhunjhunwala, Secretary of Balika Hindi Vidyalaya Secondary School, Keating Road, Shillong, lodged a complaint that on October 25, miscreant(s) broke into the midday meal kitchen of the school and stole some items.
