Selfie contest
The Fashion Society Shillong will host the Miss Shillong Selfie Contest 2020 Grand Finale on November 13. According to a statement on Tuesday, the grand finale will be telecasted live on Lelangki cable TV channel at 7pm.
Denial
KHNAM president, Pyndap Saibon, and former Tura MLA, Billy Kid Sangma, have denied reports of their involvement in the Hynniewtrep Achik’s People’s Democratic Alliance as members. “I do not have any knowledge about the said NGO/Alliance and I am nowhere involved in any way whatsoever. I am still the president of KHNAM and such fake news might be an attempt to mislead or defame our party,” Saibon said.
DACYP meeting
The District Advisory Committee on Youth Programme (DACYP) meeting of the Nehru Yuva Kendra, Shillong (NYKS) was held today at the Conference Room, DC’s Office. During the meeting, NYKS’s action plan for 2020-21 was conferred about with suggestions from different skill development departments and agencies.
