The Meghalaya State Legal Services Authority will organise a webinar on legal services for the National Cadet Corps (NCC) of North East at the office of the MSLSA, MATI building, between 10 am to 1 pm on Friday, a statement issued here said.
Containment
The District Magistrate of Ri Bhoi, in an order on Thursday, extended the containment order on the North Eastern Space Application Centre (NESAC), Umiam, including NESAC office, NESAC residential area, NESAC outreach, SBI ATM and NESAC office gate, till November 30.
Free check-up
A free camp for hearing check-up was conducted at Woodland Diagnostics, Upper Shillong, by a team of Dr Hanifa Akhtar, ENT Consultant, and Wanshimpli Marwein, Consultant Audiologist. The camp aimed at identifying hearing loss in children and to prevent it. A total of twenty children were screened, out of which four needed further investigation/treatment.
